Online calendar apps tend to have clunky interfaces that require multiple steps to make an entry. Presdo is a deceptively simple site that allows you to describe a meeting in plain English like “Lunch with Sandra Wednesday” and Presdo will interpret and give you a screen to modify, if necessary, its interpretation.
You can also either enter where you want to meet or ask Presdo for a local list of appropriate restaurants and coffee shops. Presdo will allow you to send invitations and will save your calendar entry in your Outlook, Google Calendar, iCal or Yahoo.
The Presdo founder is Eric Ly, co-founder of LinkedIn and their first chief technology officer. He has bootstrapped Presdo with $35k of his own money and has written most of the code himself. Presdo is available for free.
