Kimberly Palmer on her U.S. News blog, Alpha Consumer, finds blogging to be a hard part-time job. She highlights four bloggers at different phases of their career and finds from “The Beginner” making nothing - bupkis, to what she calls “The Success Story”, Steve Pavlina, making “in the five figures” a month lies “The Full-Timer”, Lazy Man and Money who works the 14 hours a day on weekdays and nine hours on Saturday and Sunday and expects to make $30,000 from his blog this year — hard work for a lazy man.
